Prose Reader at Carve Magazine

Carve was founded in 2000 to publish short stories online and has hosted the annual Raymond Carver Short Story Contest since 2001. Print and digital quarterly issues began in 2012 and feature our signature HONEST FICTION, poetry, nonfiction, interviews, illustrations, and more. The editors, staff, and volunteers who help the magazine thrive are based all over the world.

Poetry Reader at The Athena Review

The Athena Review (TAR) is a female-founded literary magazine. Inspired by Athena, the Greek Goddess of wisdom, we are dedicated to empowering voices through creative mediums. At TAR, we believe that art and writing are therapeutic and can be a healthy way to heal and express emotions that are too raw to be shared in any other form.

Associate Editor at Iron Horse Literary Magazine

Texas Tech University founded Iron Horse Literary Review to bring the literary arts to West Texas, which did not have a national print venue for the literary arts. Today, we continue our earliest mission but also spend a great deal of time ferreting out those up-and-coming writers who keep poetry, fiction, and nonfiction energized.
